Deepika plays host at Yuvraj’s b’day bash

Deepika Padukone sure knows to do a good job of whatever she takes up. She was recently seen playing host at good friend, Yuvraj Singh’s birthday bash.
Though it was the cricket star’s birthday party, Deepika went around playing the perfect host, as if it was a family affair. The bash saw the who’s who from the Bollywood fraternity making their presence felt. Even Shahrukh Khan was invited, however owing to time constraints, he couldn’t make it.
Yuvraj’s ex-love, Kim Sharma was conspicuous by her absence. Wonder, if she was missed by anyone, and least of all the birthday boy as Deepika was charming to the hilt, through the night. Yuvraj and Deepika danced together and later settled for a quite dinner.
Not long back, Yuvraj had invited Deepika for the India Pakistan cricket match held at Jaipur and apparently, she did go for the match and later on the two went on a long drive. Well, going by the looks of it, seems like cupid has his hands full.

Deepika Padukone and SRK
Here is an exclusive pic of Deepika in a very hot dress

Shah Rukh is Maha Style Icon of 2007

The star cast of Om Shanti Om has left no stone unturned in the promotion of their film. Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Shreyas Talpade, Arjun Rampal and the very pregnant Farah Khan were seen at the Style Awards 2007. While Shahrukh won the Maha Style Icon Award, the Most Stylist Body award went to Hrithik Roshan.
While the movie is known to have followed the seventies style, when asked about the most stylist actor of that era, the cast had many a name ready in mind. Shahrukh said, “I used to like Mumtaz a lot. I also liked Saira Bano, Zeenat Aman, Parveen Babi. I’ve always loved women. Then I wanted someone who looked like all of them and I found Deepika.”
Deepika’s favourites were Madhubala, Hema Malini and Mumtaz while Arjun Rampal found Zeenat Aman ‘very sexy’.
Most of the celebs were present at the do, it was the current era that made more of a difference and all of them had one name to suggest when it came to the most stylish person. Farah said, “Shahrukh keeps reinventing himself, be it his look in Chak De or Om Shanti Om.” Close friend, Karan Johar said, “I think he’s the most stylish person in the film fraternity.” Fashion designer and style guru Manish Malhotra said, “It’s his personality that is stylish. I think style is all about persona.”
Well, with the who’s who of the glam world vouching for his style quotient, it is no wonder that he won the Maha Style Icon award. Watch this video to get the complete lowdown and watch the movers and shakers from the entertainment and glam brigade.
