Om Shanti Om’s title song has been in the news even before it got aired. With 31 stars in this item number, almost all known faces have made their presence felt except the Bachchan family. Obviously when a Shahrukh Khan enterprise doesn’t’ have anything to do with the Bachchans, even that becomes an issue.
However, news is that Big B and Abhishek do make a special appearance in the film, just not in the song though. Farah Khan said, “Unfortunately, while shooting for the song, Abhishek was getting married. We couldn’t ask him to take a break from that and shoot for the song. However, they are very much part of Om Shanti Om. The movie would be incomplete without them.”
As for Aamir Khan’s absence in the song, she says, “Aamir was going for the shoot of Ghajini. Else it would have been historical getting all the three Khans together.” Well, whatever be it, seems like Om Shanti Om will get quite a good response considering the way the cast of the movie have been working on its promotions. Even the very pregnant, Farah doesn’t seem to take a break.
